• Mrs Janie

  Matt and Janie Lisagor are the owners of the Goddard School in Williamsburg. They were born and raised in the Williamsburg area. They have two children ages 29 and 22. Their youngest child attended and graduated from another Goddard School location. They were so impressed by the school they decided to open a school of their own. Janie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education and a Master’s degree in Education Administration. Janie’s background includes 12 years of experience as a classroom school teacher. Matt earned a degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University. Matt’s background includes over 30 years of experience as a CPA, business owner and COO in the healthcare industry. They are committed to providing the highest quality education and care to the children at Goddard. *First Aid and CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained

• Mrs Melissa

  Mrs. Melissa is a Director. She has worked with Infants through School Age children as an assistant teacher, lead teacher and Director for over 28 years before joining the Goddard Team in January 2013. She has two beautiful daughters, one is a graduate of Goddard. She received her Associate's Degree in Child Development and attended Marymount University for Psychology with a minor in Education. *First Aid and CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained (MAT)

• Mrs Lindsey

  Mrs. Lindsey is the Assistant Director. She worked with children over 6 years before joining the Goddard Team in August 2012. She was the lead teacher in our toddler classroom for several years before becoming the assistant director. She has her Child Development Associates (CDA) Certificate. She is the loving mother to a son who attends Goddard. *First Aid & CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained (MAT)

• Ms Katelyn

  Ms. Katelyn is the lead teacher in the Raccoon's classroom. She has been in early childhood education since 2012, and recently completed her Child Development Associate. She has been with Goddard for over two years, previously working as the assistant teacher in Raccoons. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Lakeisha

  Ms. Lakeisha is our lead in the Pre-Toddler classroom. She has worked with children of all ages and has been in child care for over a year. *First Aid & CPR Certified

• Ms Leonibell

  Ms. Leonibell is our lead teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has been working in childcare for many years. She has worked with children of all ages, but loves working with the younger ages. She is currently studying medical billing and coding.

• Ms Madison

  Ms. Madison is the lead teacher in our Raccoon's classroom. She attended Radford University and graduated in 2022 with her degree in Early Childhood Education. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Mary

  Ms. Mary is our lead teacher in our Seals classroom. She attended Thibodaux Vocational School for Early Childhood Education in Louisiana. She has several of years experience. She is a loving mother of three and a grandmother to six. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Nova

  Ms. Nova is the lead teacher in the Eagle's classroom. She comes to Goddard with close to 20 years of experience teaching Pre-kindergarten through elementary school age children. She has a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in Christian Studies. She is currently completing her Master's in Art of teaching elementary education. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Olivia

  Ms. Olivia is the lead teacher in our Otters classroom. She brings years of experience to the classroom. She loves helping children and makes sure that they know they are loved, seen, valued, appreciated and heard.

• Mrs Pablum

  Mrs. Pebbles is the lead teacher in the Pelican's classroom. She has worked with children for over 18 years and has an Associate’s degree in Arts (Elementary, Middle, and Special Education). She joined the Goddard Team when we first opened in June 2009. *First Aid & CPR Certified *2010 Teacher of the Year *December 2013 Teacher of the Month from Williamsburgfamilies.com.

• Ms Taylor

  Ms. Taylor is the lead in our Bears classroom. She has been working with children ranging from six weeks to five years old. She loves watching children grow and develop into their own personalities and helping shape them into the person they will grow into.

• Ms Alex

  Ms. Alex is the assistant in our toddler classroom. She come to us with two years of experience working in childcare from birth to age five. She enjoys art and music and loves to incorporate them into the classroom.

• Ms Belinda

  Ms. Linda is the assistant in our Bunnies classroom. She enjoys working with children of all of ages. Toddlers and infants are her favorite age groups to work with. She is a loving mother of two adult children. *First Aid & CPR Certified

• Ms Emma

  Ms. Emma is our assistant in the Get Set classroom. She has experience with all ages. She joined the Goddard team in December 2025. She believes that children should feel safe, loved and heard by their teachers. *CPR and First Aid Certified

• Ms Hannah

  Ms. Hannah is a part-time assistant who works with all ages. She has worked with young children for several years babysitting and at The Goddard School through high school and college. She recently graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical. Ms. Hannah also has her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. She originally joined the Goddard Team in January 2011.

• Mrs Luba

  Mrs. Luba is the assistant teacher in the Eagle's classroom. She comes to Goddard with many years of experience in early childhood education. She received a Bachelors Degree in Teaching from the University of Ukraine in 1986. *First Aid and CPR certified *MAT certified

• Ms Luisanna

  Ms. Luisanna is the assistant in our First Steps classroom. She has been working in childcare for two years. She is currently studying medical billing and coding. She has worked with children from infants to toddlers, infants being her all time favorite.

• Ms Marin

  Ms. Marin works in our infant classroom as the assistant. She has numerous years of childcare experience. She has recently moved to the area. Her favorite age group is infants.

• Ms Savannah

  Ms. Savannah works as the assistant in the Turtle's classroom. She graduated in 2018 with a degree in social work. She has been working in childcare for eight years. She loves watching the children grow and learn so many things, but it makes it even better that she can help them do it.

• Mrs Yvonne

  Mrs. Yvonne is the assistant teacher in the Pelican's classroom. She has worked in the Customer Service field for over 20 years before joining the Goddard Team in September 2010. *2014 Teacher of the Year. *April 2016 Teacher of the Month from Williamsburgfamilies.com. *First Aid and CPR Certified

• Ms Zuleyka

  Ms. Zu is the assistant in the infant classroom. She recently completed a summer internship at Sentara and would like to go to college for imaging and become a sonogram technician. She has worked with children of all ages for three years. *First Aid and CPR Certified

• Ms Abby

  Ms. Abby works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She recently graduated from a local high school. She has extensive personal experience with young children, having provided care for her family members' babies and toddlers. *CPR and First Aid Certified

• Ms Alicyn

  Mrs. Alicyn works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She has extensive experience with young children, having worked with them in varying capacities for several years. She is a loving mother of two and a grandmother of three. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Mr Bradley

  Mr. Bradley is one of our part-time assistant teacher. He is a senior at a local high school. He has worked with children with all ages while working at a church in Texas with the kids ministry.

• Ms Charlotte

  Ms. Charlotte works with all ages as a full-time assistant teacher. She graduated from Jamestown High School and is currently working on her Child Development Associate. She has been with Goddard for five years. *First Aid and CPR certified.

• Mr Joshua

  Mr. Joshua is our technology resource and school maintenance. He has an Associate's Degree in Information Technology and Applied Science and recently completed his Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and Applied Sciences. He has concentration certificates in Cybersecurity for Local Networks and Cybersecurity and Networking Foundations. He is part of the administrational staff. He has worked at The Goddard School for 8 years. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Kayla

  Ms. Kayla works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She has worked with young children for many years as an assistant teacher and a nanny. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School and is attending James Madison University while she works on her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. *First Aid and CPR certified.

• Ms Lauren

  Ms. Lauren works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She joined our team in June 2014 and has worked with young children for over 12 years as a lead and assistant teacher. *First Aid and CPR certified.

• Mrs Luzbelia

  Mrs. Luz works in all of our classrooms. She has an extensive background teaching English to Preschoolers and Kindergarteners in Peru. Her passion for children led her to continue working with them. *First Aid and CPR certified

• Ms Megan

  Ms. Megan is one of our part-time assistants. She is a Goddard graduate herself and she attends a local high school. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing field hockey. *First Aid & CPR Certified

• Ms Misheal

  Ms. Misheal is a part-time assistant teacher, who works in all classrooms. She has worked in childcare for many years, with children with all ages ranging from infants to Pre-K. She has her degree in Early Childhood Development. She is also a loving mother to her daughter.

• Ms Susan

  Ms. Susan works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is a loving mother and grandmother who loves spending time with children of all ages. Her experience includes working at the Department of Defense spanning a period of 20 years before joining the Goddard Team in January 2016. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Human Resources Administration from St. Leo College. *CPR and First Aid certified
